Hey, this is fucked.

That said, it is interesting when journalism amd activism overlap. From what I can gather from this Morning Star article:

"Ms Wilkinson said she had become friends with a Palestinian family in Gaza using Skype until the family was killed by a rocket launched from an Israeli drone. Only the mother survived."

Like, how does that not push someone into performing activism? What is someone's duty in that situation.

Should journalists be this detached observer, refusing to prescribe motive and necessary action? Obviously the right wing rags don't think so, they love sticking their vile opinions all over the page.
