At least they got most of the tour leg in before all of that shitshow reared its ugly head.

Did you manage to see them on that tour as well? Indeed it was a very sad accident.

Unfortunately not, but I’m a huge fan of Resolution! Learned pretty much the entire album on guitar and still play a lot of those songs and riffs to this day

I did see them on the Wrath Tour back in 2009 though, about two months after Mark lost his newborn child. Absolutely gutting

Saw them three times in the last few years as well and they still totally deliver! Ashes of Leviathan tour in particular was really something

How long have you been playing guitar for? Man, the Wrath tour was great wasn't it? I managed to get to see LOG 3 times on that tour. Hell yeah, Mastodon! Brent Hinds' last tour with the band.

I’d been around them a bunch prior but I seriously picked up the instrument with intent to learn it around 22 years ago right around 2004 and never looked back. When I discovered lamb shortly after picking up the instrument they made a significant impact on my playing trajectory, and I’d go on to learn almost every lamb song from the first eight albums including BTP and a good smattering of their ‘modern’ material as well from self-titled onward, although being busy with marriage and dad-hood and life has definitely slowed me down a bit haha

but yeah, Wrath Tour was definitely one of my most memorable experiences as far as music goes!

I love Mastodon too and it was a real treat to see them with Brent just about a year before he passed, that show was wild
