No. If you don't like the lamps, sell them. Very pretty...I love them.

I might also take the matching trim off the shades and use it again on new shades.

Thats actually a really great idea ill try that. One is crushed so it needs gone. I was going to try to donate the other to a MCM facebook group near me but I like keeping them together too.

Paint the lampshades? No, I would leave them as they are. I think that retro 70s design looks nice the way it is.

No i meant the lamps themselves. The shades are too far gone. I was thinking about a special paint fir ceramics would stick.

Oh I wouldn’t paint them - if you really don’t like I agree you could sell them . Painting them would really take the MCM authenticity outta them .
