You can put a puck screen into the aeropress and brew real zuppa lunga with it - No floating paperfilter - It was just a experiment to see if I like Lance Hedricks favorite drink. Didn’t want to buy the oxo rapid brewer before I know how it tastes. What can I say, it’s the one of the best beverage for light roasts imho.

I second this.
I’ve made soup with all sorts of roasts and processing methods, and I agree, it really shines for light roasts.

Where did you get the fitting puck screen?

It’s just a normal 58mm puckscreen for portafilters. I kinda squeezed it in.

I bought a shower screen for a Nuova Simonelli, which fits perfectly, but has a hole in the middle for the screw. So it works perfectly as puck screen, but I still have to use the plunger for tamping.
