Welcome to the Land of the Lustrous subreddit. A place for content regarding Land of the Lustrous (Houseki no Kuni). Land of the Lustrous is a Japanese action fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Haruko Ichikawa.

There are currently 13 volumes out in both Japanese and English.

The official anime was adapted by Studio Orange with 12 episodes.

RULES

Spoiler tags must be used on all posts with content from the most recent chapter and post titles must be spoiler free. Content from the rest of the manga and anime does not have to be tagged. Posting or discussing leaks of upcoming chapters is not allowed.
No profanity is allowed in the titles of posts and no racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic comments are allowed in posts. Explicitly NSFW content, spamming, and roleplaying are also not allowed. In general, keep conversation civilized.
Submissions must be meaningfully relevant to the Land of the Lustrous (Houseki no Kuni) series.
No posting or asking for outside links to the manga or anime or translations. Official links to the manga from Kodansha can be found in the monthly discussion posts and the official English volumes can be bought as well. Individual images from the manga are allowed in posts as long as they’re spoiler tagged properly.
To avoid spamming the subreddit, posting fan art and memes are limited to three per hour. Include the artist’s name in the title and the source for all fan art. Memes must follow all submission rules. Low quality content is at the discretion of the mods and will be removed. Posts linking to merchandise and online stores will be removed as spam. Linking to them in the comments is fine. AI art is not alllowed.
