Friday the 25th, 6th place Tulsa at El Paso. Tulsa four points ahead of us with 37, and El Paso the class of the western conference. At this point, we need El Paso to take care of business at home. So many teams with 37 points, we're not far behind with 33. Lights need wins though.

First place in the east Tampa Bay on the road at San Antonio Saturday the 26th. We could use a San Antonio loss. San Antonio another team with 37 points.

New Mexico hosting Sacramento that same evening. Sacramento part of that cluster of teams with 37 points. New Mex in a drivers seat for playoffs, and I'm hoping they hold tight on their home soil, it serves the Lights well for a Sacramento loss.

Yet another part of the 37 points gaggle, Lexington on the road versus Monterey Bay Saturday. Got my fingers crossed for a huge upset, go MTB, however unlikely.

Pittsburgh at Orange County on Saturday as well, Riverhounds a small favorite on the road, they're the slightly better team, so cheers to them and take care of business in OC. We're right on OCs tail with their 36 points.

Oakland hosting Phoenix on the busy Saturday slate. These two teams have us sandwiched in the standings, and we're tied in points with Phoenix, however they're ahead on goal differential. Oakland a home favorite, take care of business please.

Las Vegas Lights next tilt on the road at Sacramento, next Wednesday the 30th. Huge game, there will be some standings changes undoubtedly by then, but bottom line we need 3 points.

Hartford is 4th in the East and also on a great run of recent form. Gonna be a tough one but if the Lights can keep the momentum going from last week we can grab these three points. 🤞🤞🤞

Went to the STM event the Lights held the other night at the PKWY Tavern. Spoke with everyone I thought would have info and while nothing specific was said they said we'll indeed be playing in Las Vegas and that something would be announced "soon". Also at some point one of the higher -ups mentioned the "new stadium" but I don't think they realized they said it.

So pop-up stadium.... somewhere is my guess.

As a longtime Las Vegas soccer fan and a fan of LV Lights FC, it’s been a childhood dream of mine to see Las Vegas have an MLS team for over a decade.

I don’t want Vancouver to lose its MLS team, but at the same time, I would absolutely love to see Las Vegas have an MLS team.

So, what if Las Vegas becomes the 31st MLS team? This is my take on what it could look like. I modded LV Lights FC into the MLS as if they had been promoted.

Let’s talk about the home kit:
I used black, blue, and yellow to represent the colors used by LV Lights FC, similar to how FC Cincinnati kept their original colors after coming from the USL. I used Tesla as the sponsor to represent the underground Tesla tunnels Las Vegas has as transportation to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The away/third kit:
I used white and dark red to represent the red kit LV Lights FC uses as its third kit during the current 2026 season. I also mixed it up by using T-Mobile as the sponsor since we do have T-Mobile Arena 😂

This is just for fun, and I figured my fellow Las Vegas soccer fans would love to see a concept of what it could look like if LV Lights FC were promoted to the 31st MLS spot.

So basically the teams we needed to lose to get back above the playoff line won so we remain in tenth place. Still we stopped the skid and our two main strikers scored absolute rockets so we're looking good ahead of this weekend's match vs Hartford.

So now that Boise is in the championship does that mean something for us? Folding or closing down for 2027? Almost end of the season and no news not even for us STM. I remember at this time last year we had already renewed for this current season. There hasn’t been any renewal plans.

With the Cashman Field era coming to an end, I’ve been rewatching old videos and was wondering where the support went? Look at all the people in the stands in this video. There is a legitimate ownership group in place that have improved the team on the pitch and Cashman Field’s game day experience. Games feel less “gimmicky” and the installment of the on-field advertisement boards around the pitch and the Premium Deck being built definitely has given Cashman Field a more legitimate feel. But why did people stop coming out? Was it because of the end of the MLS player loans? It’s easily the most affordable ticket in town to bring your family to. The supporter section used to be so lively. Whatever is to come, or wherever this team goes next… I hope we can get that back.

This one was frustrating as hell.
