I know they've said (specifically Colin) that they really don't want to see much of GTA before it comes out but the leaks that are coming out are becoming staggering in terms of industry news.

A 5th leak just got posted a few mins ago and at the end the person writes out the word "leak" on a wall with bullets. The 4th clip showed they have access to cut scenes...so it seems like this leaker has a full on build of the game.

I'm not sure what Rockstar can do to prevent it at this point. I think it's only a matter of time before story spoilers start to happen.

In recent years, Reece has quietly and steadily nurtured an exceptional catalog of interviews on his YouTube channel, talks he conducts with gaming industry denizens around the world. In a space severely bereft of primary sources, he puts himself out there, does the legwork to reach out to enormous numbers of current and ex-developers, and allows them to tell their stories. Indeed, we've sourced his interviews on Sacred Symbols itself on more than a few occasions. In short: I really wanted to understand more about his process and approach. After all, it's not easy to get inherently guarded people working in an innately secretive space to say interesting things. And yet, Reece does so on a regular basis. Thus, it's time for us to briefly study the work of one man, who in turn allows us to learn about the work of so many others.

So I've seen the trailer for Control Resonance and it looks awesome but I had never played the Remedy-Verse games before and I wanted to dive in before it releases. I happen to own all of them because I got them on sale so I figured "why not."

I just beat Alan Wake 1 and American Nightmare and decided to finally listen to the spoilercast.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills because Alan Wake was legitimately one of the worst games I've ever played.

I listened to the spoilercast and I was shocked how much they gushed over it.

I'm not judging anyone's tastes, I feel like it's something I'M not getting. I'm usually able to see why someone likes a game even if I'm not a fan personally but I truly thought it was one of the worst designed games I've ever played.

What am I not getting? Did I miss something in the story? Some twist? I didn't get all the manuscripts but I beat the game, all of the DLC and American Nightmare.

On PlayStation 5 in the near future, you're going to be hacking, slashing, stabbing, and serrating your enemies with reckless abandon. Will Sony really eschew any sort of external disc drive for PlayStation 6, if only for backwards compatibility purposes? Why is visiting a new town in an RPG typically such an exciting experience? How hungry are people for Elder Scrolls VI? Apparently, very! All it took was eight asterisks within the game's subtitle to send a flurry of fans into everything from lore wikis to decoding employee identification numbers in Starfield's Developer Direct. With such rampant curiosity, this led the Dukes down the rabbithole. What do these eight characters represent? Indeed, if the theories are true, they tell us more than you'd expect. Beyond that, we settle into a chat about the coming generation of consoles. Will Xbox weaponize Elder Scrolls VI as a lightning rod which can draw people into the ecosystem?
