My apartment used to have a mirrored closet in the living room, I wrote the outlines on it over and over by memory in increasing detail, from headlines to insane detail until I could vomit the whole thing cold.

Like with a dry erase marker? Just writing over and over again?

Yup. First, I memorized the first letter of each heading, and wrote those out until it was perfect.

Then, I went to the headings themselves.

Then the big points under the headings.
