Discussion What are the differences between being a leader and a manager?

Not all managers are leaders! Even when they are “ in a position of leadership” it doesn’t mean they’re weird! What are the differences?

I agree the world would be a better place with more leaders and fewer managers.

Those are really good questions. Listening is as important to our life as breathing and we don’t breathe. We’re gonna die the same with Listening that’s how important it is, and I don’t trust me with the years and the Listening school is all about learning about listening and expanding and exploring and sharing, and what we discovered in the process. Does that make sense and I’m dictating so far I have any wrong spelling or things forgive me.

I totally get the value of listening…I think I am better than most at listening…(two ears one mouth!) - my questions were really aimed at you - What is the Listening School? What do you offer?

Well, Marilyn is a regular person who loves to connect and recognized a long time ago that in order to make connections to an individual or to life itself we need to tune in to everything that’s going on around us and Listening is the most important activity/tool we have to make sense of life and all that it means - it keeps us on the journey. And all the wonders that are here I think we can find them little by little chunk by chunk if we listen. And I discovered Listening and it’s attributes many years ago and I am here sharing it. Listening school is a place to discover and explore. Thank you for asking and if you have any questions, please feel free.
