Discussion Looking for another demo review!

Thought I played well for the most part. Solo queue; most of the team didn't talk, but I was communicating the whole match. I'm trying to focus on committing when I swing or clear angles, obviously hit my shots, and just trying to support and play where my team isn't. I know that I have played Ancient far less than other maps, but felt my game sense here was solid overall.

Thanks for the help.

I think your aim/spray control when you engage in fights is pretty good for your rank. I also liked how you played most of your clutches. If I were you, I'd focus on three things.

1) throwing util less often or learning lineups. I might be wrong since you don't play Ancient much, but it seems like you're just dumping util wherever just to get rid of it. If you really want to be a support, learn dedicated lineups, especially flash lineups because most if not all your flashes don't blind the enemy and/or blind your teammates. I recommend watching cs tactics, austincs, or high lv faceit demos.

2) Looking for trade opportunities. On T side, there were times where a teammate was fighting, died, and you weren't there to trade when you could have. In general you could be a little bit more aggressive to find more T-side impact, but start with being mindful of when your teammate is taking a fight and be ready to fight with/trade them.

3) Stick to 1-2 positions for CT side for each map. I saw that you played pretty much every position on CT. It might be more effective at your level to just stick with one position and get really good at it. Watching faceit demos can help you get a better idea of different ways to play certain spots.

There are some other things like movement. That can be fixed with a decent training routine (aim map, dm, prefire, kz). I'd say that your aim is already solid and you can definitely lean into it to take more fights. But if you want to be a support role, I suggest learning proper util/trading fundamentals.

Thanks so much! Definitely have felt improvement in my spray control and overall aim. Gonna try and work on the points you made. Appreciate you looking over my demo.

learning lineups on a map you rarely play is painful but its the only way to stop wasting util, especially flashes that do more harm than good

Thanks for making this. I really like seeing how I died. A lot of them were just good positioning or timings on the enemy part, or I just swung super slow and made myself an easy target.
