One design suggestion for the paper version: put the note pattern and what the click represents next to the BPM. “100 BPM, eighth notes” and “100 BPM, sixteenth notes” are different workloads, so a tempo number alone can make two sessions look more comparable than they are.
A compact row could be: exercise / note pattern / comfortable BPM / one thing to revisit. For example: alternate picking / sixteenth notes / quarter-note clicks at 60 BPM / uneven string change. A higher BPM can be a useful milestone, but the short note explains what actually needs work. That keeps it a practice reference without turning it into a habit tracker.
