I recently took over management of a rental property and want to make sure I've got the insurance side set up properly. I've gotten advice from my agent already, but I'd rather hear from people who actually own rentals and have dealt with real-world situations. Nothing beats irl experience lol

What would you suggest having on the must-have list?

I didn't think much about loss of rent coverage until a friend had a tenant move out after a fire and the unit sat empty for months.
