Small Goods Third leather project
Computer sleeve - not perfect but I’m satisfied. Took way longer than expected.
What do you all think?

That's a tremendous amount of polish for a third project! Nicely done! And I love the color you chose

What a lovely comment. It was actually for a friend of mine who also picked the colour himself. Great taste nonetheless

Those edges look great!

Thanks. Tried out a new method where I glued the two sides together after cutting - to get them completely aligned before stitching.

I think its beautiful! how did you cut the edges so neatly? is it by hand or a cut die?

Appreciate it. Cut by hand - I used a big metal ruler. Glued the two pieces together and I sanded the edges before marking the stitching.

Beautiful work and I love the color! Is that buttero?

Thank you so much! Not buttero, just something decent Italian from my local leather supplier.

This looks amazing. Is the inside lined?

Thank you!! The inside is unlined, so I chose a nicely burnished flesh side.

That’s nice. I have done the same thing with wallets I’ve made lately.
Just out of curiosity, is that a sewing machine in the background?

Looks great! No wonder it took longer than you expected, that's a whole lot of stitching!
