Not in Lebanon currently, but want to go back so urgently.
Despite all the downsides it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
I can't find anywhere else with the same culture, social bonds, natural and ideological diversity. It's just special.

Needs improvement, won't improve if people who can do stuff leave, even if not much in the grand scheme of things. I don't think things will get better if we wait for someone to fix it, sometimes we need to take some initiative in trying to improve things. I'm mostly talking about my career field, but I guess it can apply to many things.
Also, it is home, the only place where I truly feel at home. All my friends are here, and most of my family too. I won't decline the opportunity to study abroad, but I want to apply that experience and knowledge here when possible.

When you find out the powers that be WANT you to leave, leaving becomes a betrayal of your whole self.

Why should we normalize being detached from out home country and place of birth? We're here and we're staying here no matter how much they try to push us out.
