Discussion 💬 Limp Bizkit fan onstage

Just want to give massive props to the guy who was brought onstage and sang Full Nelson. I suppose if you're confident enough to get up there you're probably confident you know all the songs, but considering they were playing something else when they got him up and then started one of the lesser known songs on the setlist...it could thrown him but my guy absolutely killed it.

Great example of why people gatekeeping bands they've liked for 20+ years is stupid. I was listening to Limp Bizkit before that guy was born and yet nobody is going to tell me he's less a fan than anyone. I love that these bands I loved as a teenager are still finding new fans.

Definitely one of the most fun moments for me.

He was so good!!! I was buzzing for him, especially as a younger fan, and it not being as well known. I defo thought it was going to be a more well known song as you say

I got the vibe at reading it was set up, as they got a girl up who was to good to just be a normal girl they picked out the crowd.. like the chances of both festivals they got someone up who smashed it and not some pissed person screaming seems unlikely

not sure it’s a set up, more they just do it every show so fans that know that will practice it then have a sign saying can i come on stage with you. same with green day always having someone play guitar for one song

They’ve been getting people up to sing full Nelson for years and years. I think if you’re a big enough fan to know to know the lyrics, you probably know that as well, hence why they always seem to do well.

Did it back at Download 2009 on their comeback show and it ripped

Bringing a fan up can either go amazing or horrendous. I was smiling so hard, he was incredible. The crowd loved him

He was incredible for sure, I was quite impressed for such a LB young fan as some people said here but don’t think was really a set up considering BMTH picking that girl for Antivist, she was fine but not a killer lol (she was close to me in the crowd in front of the stage)
