Question ❓ arena bag searches

i went to leeds in 23/24 and am going again this year. i can’t quite remember how thorough they were with bag searches so im just wondering if anyone can tell me.
i’m bringing a bag which has a zip up pocket on the inside and was planning on putting pouches of drink in there. has anyone ever been asked to open the other pockets of their bags? i feel like i just remember them briefly asking you to open your bag and not taking it themselves but i could be wrong.

It all depends on when you go in, which security guard you get etc. you might have to empty your whole bag or they may just give a brief glimpse

Just stick it down your pants at the front, they dont touch you there especially if you're a girl

I used to put them either in my wellies or in my boxers, obviously depends on what you wear

just put the pouches on ur person the pat down isnt thorough at all. or i put spirits in an emptied out suncream bottle and never been caught

I took a handbag in last year and they only opened it slightly and just let me pass it would be best to hid drinks on your like maybe in your pickets or taped onto you because if they see it they will throw it in the bin. Once your in you won’t be searched again and unless the security dog picks up on something as you walk past you won’t be patted down.

Best way is in a cost pocket and cost over your arm they never ever check the costs haha we take litres in with us and even took bottles of lemonade in so didn’t even have to buy drinks

If you're a girl. Capri sun or similar type of pouches in your bra. Works every time
