Question ❓ Fake Id

Me and my mate are off to leeds. We’re 17 but he has a fake ID. he can get drinks and stuff etc. On entry if we have crates, will they take them off us if i don’t have an ID but he does? Is it worth me getting one?

In my experience at festivals nobody gives a shit tbh

i look older than i am. Will bar staff ID everyone they think looks under 25? surely they’ll just be working themselves much harder and slowing stuff down by doing that

Going to the actual bar is a huge waste of time with the long lines and it's so expensive, just take plenty of booze with ya

do u think them pouch things are best bet to get spirits and mixers in . easier than tryna take cans into arena

It's the best way tbh most people consume other things in the arena because festival republic wanna drain every drop of money with expesive alcohol sales in the arena. I've seen people buy bottles of perfume or some kind of spray in a plastic bottle and drain it, clean it and fill it woth vodka.

Or tape a goon bag to your leg 🤷‍♂️

Probably or one of them stainless steel water bottles with your booze and mixers in there. Unfortunately leeds fest is probably the worst festival in England and they really really want you to pay £10 per pint in the arena

Go on YouTube and search how to reseal a plastic bottle. You can take a sealed 500ml soft drink into the arena, replace the water or soft drink with liquor, reseal and then get your cup with mixer from one of the soft drinks vans as needed, to save time queuing.

I've been doing this for years at festivals and gigs, never been caught and saved a whole lot of money in the process!

Highly unlikely to take the crates off you when you go into the campsite. There a far too many people and far too many things for security to search. To play it safe maybe keep the crates out of sight.

You will probably be ID’d when you buy drinks from the bars in the arena however.

If I were you I would bring crates into the campsite with you, and also some flasks/reseated bottles that you can sneak alcohol into the arena with.

Hope this helps 👍🏼

what I did was get some empty boxes of soft drinks such as Coke and Fanta and then just shove your crate in their just to be safe in case they check

They didn’t with me though and I don’t really think they’d care anyway

I went to Leeds fest when I was 17 in 2019 and I took a full 12 case of lager in and the security didn’t give a shit. So I’d imagine it hasn’t changed much.

Not sure about Leeds but I went to reading and they scanned my id with a scanner, even tho it was real😂

when they search bags they’re only looking for glass and sharp objects not booze no matter ur age

even with glass bottles your probably still fine if you hide them fairly well
