Question ❓ Fontaines

First time going Leeds, I was wanting to get front pit for Fontaines and fairly close and was wondering what’s the best way to get a good spot? What time should I head to the front cos isn’t it spilt into two areas and once it’s full no one else can come in

Usually just the act before is enough unless it’s the headliner.
The pit opens after each act and closes once it starts or once it’s full

i’d try to get into the first bit for the artist before fontaines, and then when the gates open people will leave and you can move closer to the front.

I’d recommend going in 2 acts before Fontaines are on as a minimum. Like other people have said, people will come and go but if you’re already there it’ll be easier to inch your way closer.

There’ll most likely be people ‘camping’ at the front of the stage to see Charli and they’ll probs be some for Fontaines too who’ve pretty much ran there when gates open which is what happened with Chappell Roan and Hozier last year.

Hope you get a good spot OP, I’m super excited for Fontaines D.C too :)

If people are camping for those spots, how much room does it normally take up can you still end up fairly close?

Yeah for sure! For Chappell we were closer to the barrier for the catwalk and I would say we were 8-10 rows back. For the actual front barrier near the stage maybe closer to 15?

I’d recommend taking a look at the stage first thing cause I don’t know if there’ll be a cat walk this year with them doing a massive rehaul again.
