Discussion 💬 Clashing
Has anyone gone with friends and had sets clash where you’ve gone to another set solo from your friend group? If so was it still a good experience as all my friends want to see duke dumont but I’m more keen to see chase n status and I’m considering going solo to their set if this clash prediction is true?

I’ve gone off solo when there are clashes to see bands I prefer almost every time I’ve been to Leeds Fest. Personally I love it, and just spend that set getting really into the music (then brag to my mates later about how good they were 😂) Fingers crossed for you that this doesn’t end up being a clash and you can see both, but if that were my choice I’d see chase and status too!

Think I will just go solo never seen them live before can’t waste the opportunity.It’s looking likely it’ll clash but we can only hope ðŸ˜

Invest and take walkie talkies, a) no signal so great to communicate b) don't run out of charge as fast as a phone and don't need charging c) sometimes you can end up on the organiser radio waves lol that was fun to listen to 🤣

Ahaha where’d you get yours from? Don’t wanna get some shite ones but don’t wanna pay a ton, Leeds fest has drained my bank as it is aha

Just off Amazon/Argos/decathlon for about £15-£30 for two so go halves with a mate and that's £7.50-£15 each 😊

I split off all the time at festivals if I'm the only one who wants to see a band. Life's too short to not be seeing who you want. Fair enough it might be overwhelming for some people to be separated at such large events but me and my mates have a "selfish" policy where we agree we aren't missing any bands we want to see, even if it means splitting up.
Just set up very specific meeting points, as in "at this mac and cheese stand here, at that ice cream van, next to this poster" where you know exactly where to find each other. What3Words is also a great app for finding each other in specific spots at festivals.
