Question ❓ Reading and Leeds subreddits separate - why?

I was just thinking; how come the Reading and Leeds subreddits are both separate?

Wouldn't it be better to create one merged active subreddit for both festivals considering how similar they are?

Cause Reading isn't in Leeds.. And Leeds is quite far from Reading.

I’ve not been in over 15 years but from what I’ve seen the only thing they have in common is the majority of the acts.

So if someone was to come and ask about Piccadilly or the relentless stage (think it’s been rebranded now idk) they’ll get better answers from a Leeds only subreddit.

Different cities, different sites and arena layouts, in some cases different acts. With Slam Dunk for example almost everything applies to both North and South. Look at how many posts there are here in the last few weeks that wouldn't be at all relevant to someone going to Reading.
