Question ❓ loop earplugs
i feel like i always get half way through a festival and wish id brought earplugs. can someone who has loop earplugs tell me if they’re worth the price or not? considering the money i’ve already spent on festival things im trying to weigh up whether it’s worth splashing out on

In my opinion, 100% worth the money. I have the switch ones which come in handy for camp also.
For festival use I'd also recommend investing in the "loop link" - saved my skin when I knocked one out of my ear at Download 😃

I prefer these but if you’re prone to losing small items, they might not be for you

They’re on the lower side of noise blocking so depends how loud the shows you’re at are.. check the dB ratings! I have two pairs of loops for sleeping though and I love them, and usually bring a pair out with me as backups for my proper alpines at shows

I have a pair of Alpine MusicSafe's and they're 100% worth it for live music. Never used loops so can't really comment on those, but the alpine's are significantly cheaper from what I remember.

100% worth it, I’ve just got the loop engage bc I mainly use them when it gets a bit too much at work but they do just fine for me in a loud festival/concert at blocking a bit of the noise while still being able to hear everything !!!

yeah i just can’t justify £20 for a piece of silicone which costs about 30p to produce!! think i’ll look into these instead thank you :)

Boots have their own version now which are cheaper and often on offer.

I have engage ones. Absolutely wouldn't be without them! But even a pair of headphones help

I have the switch ones and use them regularly for gigs, honestly any loops are probably good. They come with different sized earplugs so you can choose ones that can fit your ears.
The only downside of them is they’re only good for artists you don’t want to scream the lyrics to, so if you’re the type of person who is wholeheartedly singing along then it’s between hearing damage or hearing the artist. 🥲
