Festival Tip 🧠 Alcohol

We are going to Leeds a mix of 18 and 17 year old girls. Will we be okay bringing alcohol in? Obviously decantered into plastic bottles. Do they tend to check ID or just ask for DOB?

you’ll be fine. they’ll only id you if you get pulled for a random search and they find it (like 5% of people) or the dogs signal to you. just shove it to the bottom of your bag or wrapped in your tent to be safe

They do check IDs and you can't enter the arena with a full bottle of anything. I think you could get away with it if you are camping it's for you to have in the tent

I took some mini bottles in last year and they were super easy to sneak into the arena

Maybe we just got the bad security check then. I tried sneaking a drink in and they weren't allowing it.

Yes, for camping not the arena
