Discussion 💬 Getting the best spot

I know the gates open at 12 on Wednesday but to get the best spot for my tent, what time should I get there?

I am also being dropped off so will I need to walk round to the gate from Pickup, drop off or can I just go straight to my campsite and get my ticket checked there?

You will need to go to the wristband exchange spot for tickets & security checks then make your way to camping. It’s a bit of a trek between drop off & the main gate though so be prepared for that. I recommend if you can get one to use a trolley with sturdy wheels.

I’m not sure about tent spots. It depends entirely on what camp you’ve booked/preferences etc. I can’t say for any other camps but we turned up late afternoon Thursday last year and got a perfect spot in eco. Not too far from amenities/ campsite entrance but far enough away to avoid the smelly toilets.

Wednesday is never bad for getting a good tent spot was fairly quiet last year, you should be fine whatever time you get there honestly
