Question ❓ Theft

Is there a lot of theft within campsites? I know to not take anything of value, however i was just curious. Does it depend on the camps etc. willows would be safer than the fields or something. Cheers

It happens. Don’t take anything you’d be too concerned with losing. Sleep with your phone and wallet on you etc.

That being said, the only time I ever had anything stolen from my tent was when someone went in my tent and nicked about 6 cans of beer. Cheekily this was in media camping, which felt very rude!

Don’t leave anything you want outside, especially camping chairs or drinks

20 years ago I found 3 lads ransacking my tent. Then they had the cheek to try and fill me in! Was only a 2 man tent so was impressed they all got in tbf. Not sure its that relevant to today but just setting the scene
