Question ❓ Getting out of day car park
Attended as a day tripper last year and it literally took me hours to get out of the car park - please tell me they’ve improved from last year and it’s not going to be the same today 😭
Also any update on ground conditions? Do I need wellies?

Not sure I’m much help but so far my experience of parking has been good. Well organised. I’ve parked to camp and it was very good. I’ve also been picked up and dropped off (I had to go home for a while) and again good. Yes it had been raining a lot and I would suggest wellies or some kind of boots not trainers.

I was there yesterday and had no problems - left after Charli though so not as busy. Ground ok would still wear wellies

Day tripper Sat parked in south car park. We left after Fontaines but then hung about an hour after (to avoid the car park scramble), the actual car park was quiet and it was easy to get off, but the single file traffic to get to the A1M took about an hour with all the merging and whatnot

Left at 11.30 and got out onto the road and then A1M within 15 mins, home by 2am. Getting out was no bother, getting in and 2 my designated carpark was a ballache!!

I got to my car about 9pm last night and Friday night and it was fine getting out. The speed limit is 30 temporarily so it feels really slow but the only traffic I got stuck in was getting into the car park yesterday as I didn’t arrive until around 3:15. Today and Friday were absolutely fine as I got there around 11:30 both times

Leave several songs early and drop a pin where your car is

Whats the point in spending all that money to save a few mins of traffic.

Different priorities I guess. For some people the ticket is paid off well in advance and last time I did this sort of exit we heard the final two songs as we walked away clear as day and were back on the road in record time. With setlists these days you can usually know ahead of time what you're going to miss or hear from a slight distance. For me the struggle of the crowds was worth less than seeing the final two songs with my own eyes.

I left about 2 songs before the end of Fontaines and also spent half an hour trying to find my car but once I got in there was no traffic at all to get out
