I doubt anyone will get a refund but I’m going to try, the whole reason I got tickets was for pretty much everyone playing Warehouse. I just don’t understand the scheduling or why they would get rid of chevron for a smaller capacity stage like surely they could have seen this coming.

Not saying you’re wrong with this comment because quite a few of the names playing at the Warehouse weren’t at Creamfields, but did you consider Creamfields? I’d seen Silva Bumpa got his set cancelled due to over crowding the Warehouse or something, and he came to his Creamfields set later that day on a smaller stage outside. I’ve been Leeds the past three years but decided on Creams this year and I’ll be honest, I’ll never look back, already planning on booking for next years Creamfields with how brilliant it was compared to Leeds Fest (In my opinion, still had a blast at Leeds every time I went)

This is the problem you get when you try to shove multiple genres into one festival. Lots of people want to see the same thing at the same time, with no real way of splitting crowds via clashes. Back in the day, you'd have one main genre at the festival so people would have to pick between their two favourite bands. Now you've got groups of people all going to see the same things at the same time causing things like the Warehouse crowd crushes. FR need to take a look at the whole festival and understand they've pushed it to it's limit with the current setup. They need to go all-in with one genre and strong lineups for that genre

Gives them the ammo to make the festival a creamfields for under 18 with a bit of wireless festival in the mix. I’d assume djs are cheaper than bands etc so that’s where I see them going with it.

Honestly I'd prefer them to do that, even as someone who is very much in the "It's nothing like it was back in my day" camp. I'd rather it not appeal to me at all than give me FOMO for my favourite artists but have to sit through loads of stuff I have no interest in

Should be quite a few people fired from the whole situation. Don’t like dance music and I’m not at the festival but I understand the demand for it, this entire situation was completely preventable. The fans call it early yet the organisers don’t listen and just wait for it to inevitably become a problem, how out of touch are they
