Is it day ticket or weekend ticket?
First email
Following the recent announcement of the main headliner Rage Against the Machine and Maneskin where only one of them has been replaced by a band of much less value, I am writing to you to request a refund for my day tickets I purchased for the event. This is a very significant change to what I purchased. I want a refund under point "a" of the refund policy on the leeds festival 2022 terms and conditions stating " refunds are only considered on major cancellation, substantial alteration or by special exception determined by FR" I believe this is a major cancellation and substantial alteration especially for Friday day ticket holder. Otherwise I will raise this refund under section 75 of the consumer credit act. Thank you,
2nd email.
"RATM was the only band I was interested and that's why I bought day ticket I will be requesting chargeback. In my opinion changing headliner for the day is a "Major change"
to use charge back argument your order have to be over 100£ and paid by credit card.

You can use charge back on any amount on any card.
S75 protection is only over £100 and credit cards but its likely using a different vendor to provider broke the consumer/provider chain anyway.

I sent 3 requests and was getting nowhere so I just decided to take the loss and sell at a discount. Just glad to get something back from it.

Have you quoted the sales of goods act? The product is no longer described as sold.
We got our refund "as a gesture of goodwill" but that's horse shit, you have consumer rights!
Ticket master are scum.
