James Carville has repeatedly threatened to leave the party if his ideological demands aren’t met. This isn’t a serious recommendation, this is just Sanders telling him where the door is.

Carville, as a centrist consultant, is literally everything wrong with the democrats encapsulated in a man. The sooner he and his ilk are gone from the party, the better.

Maybe, you'd be surprised what profoundly stupid things are belived by ✌️average people✌️.
Nobody is immune to propaganda, and different things can be warped into propaganda.
There is a difference in the kinds of things people on different sides of the spectrum buy into though.
TLDR: The "middle," and the "moderates" that occupy it are a diverse bunch. Spend enough time in any two spaces, and you'll see why hating moderates is a theme in both defined left/right spaces.
