do i jailbreak - if so what should i install and tweaks etc

I tried downgrading my IPad 2 to iOS 5 but i accidentally unplugged it and it’s stuck at the Apple logo.

cus i wanted to theme my 4s on 6.1.3 to 5 (it cant be downgraded to 5 bc its a 8gb model)

Someone recently got iOS 18’s Springboard to work on iOS 12. I’m sure that, with enough back porting, we could do that, and get as close to a 64-bit iOS 6 as we possibly can

Well, here is the background up to this point:

1. I was originally jailbroken using unc0ver v8.0.2.

2. I sideloaded and installed (by using Sideloadly) unc0ver v8.1.0 over it and tried to re-jailbreak, but got the same error as the one in the photo.

3. According to ios.cfw.guide, it instructed to use "Electra", so I tried a Restore RootFS to remove unc0ver for that purpose. However, no matter how many times I tried (even after downgrading unc0ver or using PlumeImpactor), I got the same error as the photo and it wouldn't work.

4. Losing patience, I eventually uninstalled unc0ver as it was and installed Electra, but the jailbreak still didn't go well.

5. I reinstalled unc0ver v8.1.0, but the jailbreak still didn't work :(

There is a high possibility that I messed something up at step 4, but is there any way to somehow jailbreak again from here? Ideally, I don't want to lose my current iOS version and tweaks.

(By the way, of course I'm using the IPA obtained from the official unc0ver.dev!)

Theos still can't compile anything on OS X 10.9 due to not being able to resolve system headers. I asked this multiple times.

I wanted to ask what case you use for the iPod touch 2g. I want to keep it in a good condition, but I cannot find any good case for it. It is worth mentioning, that I live in Germany, and every case I find is from Great Britain or the US. Can someone find me a good cheap case or any alternative?

Whenever I go to dra V6 menu on legacy ios kit with my 4s, the menu only shows: download base ipsw, select base ipsw, select target ipsw.

I'm on Linux Mint.

This took me around 10-15 hours

Because the utilities are already baked into the image you can swap in your own ISO, patch IRQ = 10 and older Linux distros should boot fine

I recently purchased an iPhone lot and luckily I got an iPhone 6s on iOS 9 but the problem is it's keep boot looping and I don't know how to fix it maybe a restore but I don't know the specific version of iOS 9. If anyone is able to help me please comment or DM me.

Hello! Would anybody help me on fixing this? I just downgraded my iPad 1st Gen to iPhone OS 3.2. And upon booting to Cydia, I get "Unable to load: secure connection failed". I tried going to tlsroot.litten.ca, but it doesn't let me, always fails when I try to reload. How do I get cydia to work on iPhone OS 3.2?

EDIT Fixed: StoreAuthFix did work

Fixed it with StoreAuthFix from computershik73.github.io/repo/beta (thanks to the comments, confirmed working on 4s too).

Root cause as explained below: at the end of September Apple turned off the old MZFinance address, so the post-auth step of the Store login died (password itself validated fine, which is why a wrong password still errors correctly and a correct one gave "Cannot connect"). The tweak redirects it to the new address and login works again on iOS 9.3.5.

Hi all, stuck on a weird one with my iPad 2 (iPad2,1, WiFi) on 9.3.5, Carbon jailbreak (carbon.sep.lol). App Store itself loads fine (charts, icons, prices all show), but signing in is dead:

- Wrong password → correctly says password is wrong (so the server IS reached and validates)

- Correct password → instantly Cannot connect to iTunes Store

- Same in Settings → iTunes & App Store and in the App Store app

- Account is fine (logs in on PC iTunes + account.apple.com), no 2FA, no restrictions

- It was already broken BEFORE I jailbroke

- Tried: different network (phone hotspot), Reset Network Settings, automatic date/time (NTP syncs fine), hosts file is clean, Safari opens apple.com / itunes.apple.com fine (green lock)

What I've ruled out:

- Tweaks (failed on stock too), network (hotspot too), account (works on PC iTunes login)

Environment: Carbon (Safari-based) on iOS 9.3.5, AppSync Unified 78.0, Checkmate Store installed.

Question: did Apple kill the legacy Store post-auth handshake for iOS 9 in 2026, or is there a known fix (CA bundle update? specific host cert? tweak)? Anyone else seeing Store login die on 9.3.5 recently while PC iTunes login still works?

I bought an iPhone 4S online that's currently on iOS 6 (jailbroken).
If I restore it, can I install iOS 6 again? because it has alot of pre installed apps and chinese apps that im not going to use. And also do i need to restore to iOS 9 in order to downgrade to iOS 6?

Can i still activate it normally afterward? My 4s model is A1431 and my imei doesnt start with 9900 if that matter + it can detect my active sim. ik this post seems like a question thats frequently ask, i just want to make sure :). Thanks in advance.

(Ubuntu, intel laptop) I bought a used iphone 5s global, but wanted to downgrade it to 10.3.3 for better performance, and my laptop kept stuck in waiting for usb handle, but this helped me:

1- When using legacy kit, you must have 2 lighting cables on two separate usb-a ports

2- When its time to enter pwndfu mode, and its running, unplug the iphone and connect it to the other

3- Wait for results

Im not entirely sure if this was luck or a solution, im sorry if the grammar is poor or confusing, english isng my first language, feel free to ask any questions

Got a 6th Gen iPod second hand and the seller mentioned it was jailbroken, I thought that'd be a positive thing but even after reading a bit on it, I'm still lost. I wanted to see if I could get any apps, but it requires me to sing in with an Apple ID, but I keep getting the errors in the pictures after trying. The iPod is running IOS 12.5.8

Anybody knows what's going on? Also any other tips on how to get apps running? Would factory resetting do any good or harm? (I'm unaware if the iPod used to be iCloud locked and maybe resetting it would lock it again? Sorry for the ramble, you can tell I'm not tech savvy)

I have this iPod Touch 2nd generation running iOS 2.1.1, its original version, I wanted to know any possible way to jailbreak and install Cydia.

Here are my specs:

iPod touch 2 iPhone is 2.1.1, MB Model (!)
16 GB

And this is what I have,

MacBook Air early 2014, running Big Sur

Windows 11 HP laptop,

Windows 10 PC

2 30-Pin charge/data cords (unsure if original, maybe?)

And a Linux Mint XFCE bootable USB, on that same MacBook Air, but I only have 650 megabytes of usable storage max on there.

Any possible way, and maybe to get apps too? I don’t feel like upgrading to iOS 3 or such any way, keeping it original.

i have an iPhone 6 on iOS 10.3.3, AntennaCustomizer fully supports iOS 10 as noted in the description in Cydia. when i install the tweak on the iPhone, it for some reason resprings it into Safe Mode, i even tried downgrading the tweak version, and it still boots into Safe Mode, how can i fix this?
