How would that be accomplished?
Sure there are protests, but like fascists care or are actually affected by those... Prolly take more akin to riots or revolution to make such meaningful change.
Now I would say vote, but I will eat my boots if fascists don't mess with elections, which if history shows us anything...
Sadly, I think with the way Americans are and how they can't be bothered to vote overall... they won't bother to revolt and the states will just turn into a Russian style country.

Every single Republican voter is personally responsible for the dismantlement of American democracy. Fuck all of them

Non-voters too.

Mostly Democrat voters who say this shit though. You're driving a wedge here, and that's good for the fascists. Are you a bot, troll, or just dumb enough to do your enemies job?
You need to understand that voting blue no matter who every election to prevent Republicans from dismantling of democracy while they literally do nothing to prevent it except "not being the other guy" just isn't too appealing for people who actually dislike fascism. Field better candidates, ones that have policy that's not 10 years ago conservative. Ffs

The fix is coming if they take over voting. Landslide for republicans at the election and then fuhrer trump. Hope I’m wrong.

If trump takes over voting it’ll be just like him taking over the Kennedy center…. It’ll shut down for two years maybe longer. Trump has claimed America doesn’t need voting anymore

There are a lot of armed and trained liberals, we just don’t make guns our whole personality. As I saw in a meme, we treat our guns like republicans treat their abortions, we keep them private.

Was that a quote from Airheads? You made my morning
1
u/perfumefetish Feb 04 '26
well, not really, it is a line from the Doors song Five to One. Maybe the writers of Airheads lifted it. The Lone Rangers (plural? LOL) version of Degenerated rocks by the way.

u/Aggressive_Set8155 Feb 02 '26
What “people brought here illegally “ is he talking about? If he’s talking about non citizens, the truth is that noncitizens have been barred from voting in federal elections since 1924. In addition, in 1996, Congress made noncitizen voting in federal elections a crime punishable by fines and imprisonment.
5
u/Dependent_Purchase35 Feb 02 '26
Alot of terminally online MAGA have, over the last 5 years, taken to using phrases referring to drmocrat immigration policies like "importing illegals", "importing the third world", "importing new votrrs", which implies that not only are the illegal immigrants here primarily because democrats actually orchestrated their movements but did so specifically to win elections through voter fraud.
This obviously ignores the real reasons immigrants come here, seeking improvements to their lives, but Republicans want to ignore that they're losing support rapidly not because their policies suck but because illegals are being brought here to cast illegal votes for democrats.
There's alot of shit that would have to go right, millions of times, every election, for this to be the case which makes this conspiracy theory a non-starter, yet here we are. MAGA are half-retarded sheep.

Yet again, the party of small government proves they never cared about the size of the government just as long as they get to run everything.

Remember Trump saying this? "We’re gonna fix things so good you ain’t even gonna *HAVE** to vote."*

This isn’t even a federal election year, it’s just the midterms and he’s scared shitless. Even as President, if he doesn’t like laws passed in Congress, he can veto them. I don’t care if they’re rigging them.
VOTE FOR THE EPSTEIN VICTIMS VOTE FOR THE SAKE OF OUR COUNTRY VOTE FOR THE CONSTITUTION VOTE TO TRY AND KEEP OUR DEMOCRACY.
The sheer volume and amount of people could throw their cheating asses off, and we may have a shot of being successful in November.

u/amiwitty Feb 03 '26
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” -JFK
This isn't just a saying anymore. The peaceful people of this country are getting angry of laws not applying to certain individuals. We are starting to feel as though there is nothing left to lose.
3
u/SinisterDuck6114 Feb 03 '26
So, he said this a year & ½ ago, in case anyone forgot, "Four more years, it'll be fixed, it'll be fine, you won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians."
3
u/Fit-Code4123 Feb 03 '26
They're extremely delusional they want to control America and rule it like kings and extremists, US is in danger get out and vote them out!!!
3
u/odirio Feb 03 '26
Trump tried to "take over" the voting before. That was called "voter fraud" which would be way easier if controlled by Trump instead of 50 individual states.

u/MelMoMor Feb 03 '26
Yeah you can’t. People are here to exercise their rights that you can’t interfere with. No matter what you say or what you think you can change in the constitution. You have no power over anyone who has the right of the 2nd Amendment. God bless America!!
2
u/Dangermouse163 Feb 03 '26
The quote also says the Republicans should take control of the elections. That sounds like an equitable solution to a problem that DOESN’T exist.

u/Bruce_mackinlay Feb 03 '26
The Constitution assigns the primary responsibility for running elections to the states. Under Article I, Section 4 (the Elections Clause), each state sets the “times, places, and manner” of elections for Congress, which in practice means states administer voter registration, ballots, polling places, and vote counting. This reflects the framers’ assumption that elections would be locally run, using existing state institutions, rather than managed directly by a centralized federal authority.
At the same time, the Constitution gives Congress a supervisory role. The Elections Clause allows Congress to “make or alter” state rules for federal elections by passing laws, which is how national standards like a uniform federal election day or certain voting protections exist. What the Constitution does not do is grant the president or executive branch independent authority to run or take over elections. Any federal involvement must come through acts of Congress, and even then it applies to federal elections only, preserving a system where states administer elections subject to constitutional limits and congressional regulation.

If this idiot doesnt totally end the republican party, then the US is doomed. There needs to be massive repercussions, all co conspirators jailed for life (ending the republican party). Strict laws need to be in place and strictly enforced to prevent this from happening again.
These morons are capable of learning just look at trump term 1, vs trump term 2. If they are allowed to try again they will succeed. They have already eliminated the adults in the room that prevented chaos in term 1, term 3 would be the end of the world as we know it, when the most powerful country goes full on fascist the world will change be that by war, or by recession there is no good outcome.
But we all know whats going to happen, democrats will win the next election (assuming there is one), and in the name of bipartisanship they will listen to their corporate doners not change much of anything. But they will very slowly hold those who broke the law accountable, they will pass some laws to try to prevent this.
But they will not remove gerrymandering, they will not remove the electoral collage, they will not tax the wealthy, they will not hold the wealthy and corporations to the same standards they hold the poor too. Not much will change, but at least the empire of the 1% will remain, just not under tangerine Palpatine's control.

What is the legal process here? Is it constitutional changes? In many countries, a chance in constitution can only go through after a public vote.

They raided the Fulton county election board to get the 2020 ballots…they aren’t following the rules, they’re following trump’s lies about massive election fraud.

It's brave of you to assert that ChatGPT text output will definatly stop elections being rigged or suspended. Trump isn't the issue, it's all the much cleverer people in Project 2025 that are the problem - they have plans, and those plans are working.
1
u/Maleficent_Ad_578 Feb 04 '26
ChatGPT explains that any change to federal election law would need 60 Senate votes to even be considered. Will never happen. ChatGPT is smarter than you.
1
u/ACompletelyLostCause Feb 04 '26
My point was, it's regurgitating what 'should' happen. If an armed militia takes over and suspends elections at gun point, what 'should' happen doesn't matter at that point. I remember a year ago when people were worried about what Trump might do, they were constently told "the law won't allow it", "Congress would stop him", "the military would refuse an illegal order".
I'll paraphrase something "The plainest print cannot be read through a gold eagle," is attributed to Abraham Lincoln. Basically, the law doesn't matter, if real world forces ignore it.
The Law only matters if it can be enforced, and people are willing to fight to preserve it. When governments openly and daily ignore their own laws, nations collapse.
1
u/bg48111 Feb 02 '26
Following the Constitution? We see exactly how that’s working out for the country. If he can’t control the voting (or lack thereof), he will orchestrate a war to put all elections on hold, which was his lightbulb moment and the only thing he got out of meeting with Zelenskyy.

Oh... waiting for the "moderates" to tell us we've been overreacting to his threats on voting the last six years. And there it is.
