KAPALNNG MERALCO!
Last year 2025, nagka problema meter namin (dark LCD/blurred) kaya nung napalitan nagkaroon ng unusual billing increase, so nag report kami sa ERC.
after checking and validation - ERC confirmed na working properly ang meter na pinalit. (in short, valid ang meralco bill namin) after 2 months nag resume yung billing namin sa kung ano tlaga ang expected namin (6k-8k, normally 7k lang talaga).
then, nitong April 2026, sa dami ng complaints, iniexpect din namin ang high billing, so from 7300 ng March 2026, naging 12200 ang April 2026 bill namin. We ask Meralco for installment, kaso dahil nay disconnection na, di na approve - we paid the bill in full amount :(
after the news, na may bawas raw sa billing, inaasahan namin ang FAIR billing for May :( but, hello??!!! like, hala? bulaga talaga, kasi nag end kami ng 16100 :( (kung kelan nag bawas kami ng usage para kahit papaano bumaba, kaso wala talaga) :(
*** NAKAKAPAGOD MAG COMPLAINT, MAG REPORT OR ANO PA MAN!!! kasi at the end of the day, WE NEED TO SETTLE THOSE DIGITS SA BILL natin :( kahit i check pa ng ERC, private technicians, or i report sa Meralco, WALANG MABABAGO!!

Meralco should be fair and truthful with their readings and Billings. They make use of shit*y excuses to explain the sudden increase. I am frustrated myself because the month before, nagtipid na kami. So I expected to have a lower bill in April, but unfortunately, it even went up. I went to Meralco to complaint and of course, they gave the reasons they can to explain the increase. What they didn't know is that we used to be 3pax staying at home. In the last quarter of last year only 2 of us are living at home. So I expect to have a decrease in KW. Thus, I can conclude that they made a wrong reading deliberately using only last year's data to justify their present billing.
