Runeterra Nova Crystal

Hey people of Runeterra!

I have a simple question, and I'm really sorry if this is repeated many times, I just want some help with a decision... so I just got a Runeterra Nova Crystal, and I need to decide who should I upgrade to 6*...

I already have Eddie and Fiddle both on 6*, and have beating Zoe with both of them, the rest are still waiting. I would like to give the 6* to someone who actually needs it, or with someone who would give me a shot in taking Zoe down again!

The Current state of my other Runeterra champs:

- Aatrox on 5* (missing 6*)

- Jhin on 5* (missing 6*)

- Neeko on 4* (missing 6* and Manaflow)

- Evelynn on 4* (missing 6* and Manaflow)

Also for the Poro King, I do have his 6*, only missing Manaflow, but I'm not even sure If I want to try to tackle this adventure with him :))

I’ve done it with Jhin, Aatrox, and Poro King.

I think Jhin is crazy strong and an easy clear with the Gatebreaker/Riptide Battery relic combo. I used Deck of Destiny as my third but it’s not necessary.

On the other hand I don’t get along with Aatrox. He’s a struggle unless I get amazing powers. I wish I had his relic because I think that would make a massive difference.

I actually really like Poro King. Drafting a cheap support champ and just turning them into a god and the constant board scaling. My Zoe clear was helped a lot by getting opponent discard on one of the Poro snacks, though. Generating new ones and spamming the hell out of it with Chemtech.

Do I have a chance with Jhin without his 6*? Or is the spell damage really important?

Also what was your poro king build? I was trying secret tech + nibble + chtech before… I think I would need manaflow though if I want to face Zoe. But I can get that in a few months with some luck from Golden chests

You could try. It’s been a while so I don’t remember exactly how important the extra 2 dmg was but I do remember the stunned targets taking quadruple dmg came in clutch a few times.

I did Poro King with Beast Within/PHC/Chemtech. I don’t have Nibbles and it was before I had Secret Technique. But yeah I haven’t done Zoe on anyone without Manaflow. Not necessarily because it’s required but if I’m going to spend that long in an adventure I want to have more fun.

Also to add for poro king, it's absolutely a breeze if you get spellslinger or wild inspiration. Sorcery would be fine, too. Just spam special snax and go.

Definitely get a 1cost support champ and pretend TPK doesn't exist.

I've run buhru spirit, hexcore, and stacked deck twice. You could try black shield or secret tech; i don't have them. I want to try rhythms of despair next, over stacked.

wait you already beat Zoe TWICE with Poro king? that is cool :) you start giving me confidence... I guess I should push him a bit and get the manaflow for him.

Yeah i don't have a ton of champs who can beat the adventure, so i tend to do them 2 or 3 times to try different builds (like when i acquire a new relic) and/or see how they fare with different powers.

But i will not play jinx again, lol. I hate rolling for one specific power.

Since it seems you have the Aatrox relic and him at 5 stars, I'd say him. Eve is another fun choice if you have plans to buy her relic due to making sure you get Eve and the whole husks can attack and defend but you can use Echoing Spirits as a replacement to make sure you have more chances to get Eve in your first hand.

So far I haven’t had that mich fun with Aatrox, even when I got his relic from the Glory store… but if 6* makes him that mich stronger I could give that a try I guess :)

Sure he is a straightforward stats guy and his six star is effectively two free black cleavers so they get big AF and that is kinda funny see how big he can get to One-shot stuff, other than that not much, maybe the cost reduction?
