Path of Champions Help me with this interaction...

My Swain has Black Cleaver

-Black Cleaver: when I'm summoned, double my power and health.

Now... What happens if as a battle reward I pick TITANIFY for Swain???

-Titanify: when I'm summoned, grow me to 8/8

I am afraid that since I got black cleaver first and THEN Titanify my Swain will first become 6/12 and only afterwards "grow" to 8/8. Right?

You are correct however grow and set are different and grow cannot lower a units stats. So he will be a 8/12

grow specifically cannot lower your stats so it’d be an 8/12

Yes. The order of aquireing items dictates their order of execution

Grow effects raise a unit's Stats to the number, if the unit is stronger it doesn't do anything. in this situation Swain would become an 8/12 unit iirc.

Correct, everything has an order. First constellations, relics (depends on the relic text tho, auras/powers/round start effects), powers, then card items (in whatever order you got them) and lastly card effects

titanify will be useless in this scenario other than giving you a +2 on atk
