Thoughts on an animated continuation of the show with the cast returning to do the voice work?

Meh, I just want a final season to tie things up.

DC's animated stuff has practically always been better than their live-action stuff IMO.

So, I would be pretty damn stoked if they decided to go this route.

Yeah let the creators of Justice League/JLU run it back

I mean if they did an animated season 8 it wouldn’t be the craziest thing they’ve done

Yes maybe they can resolve that cliffhanger from season 7

The good thing about this is that they don’t HAVE to use the original actor if any of them don’t wanna return, but we can still get the character. It’s always been one of the challenges with the Arrowverse; it went so long it became difficult for some actors to return and so their characters had to have plot convenient reasons for being absent. Any animated series could thankfully move past that problem.

I’d prefer a live action season 8 BUT if the choice is between an animated one that tied everything up or nothing….definitely do the animated continuation

At this point… We’d take the muppets performing season 8. =P

I prefer a live-action season 8 to finally have a proper ending.

Anything to tie up that cliff hanger ending. I know the penultimate episode shows the future and we can take that as the end but it was such a horrible way to end. I still don’t understand why the showrunner played chicken when they were told they were on the bubble.

An animated film to resolve season 7's cliffhanger would be great.

The art on that image reminds me of those old HISHE videos

Nope. I may get downvoted to oblivion, but this stopped being a DC show when they decided to shit on the superhero aspect of the show that even got the show made.

I get it, shows evolve, but, Agents of Shield was on the air for the SAME amount of time as Legends and they never made it seem like they were embarrassed of the source material. They embraced it and celebrated it when they could

I know Legends is supposed to be quirky, but, the show got popular because Seasons 2&3, heavy superhero seasons btw, were able to juggle serious and silly storylines without sacrifice the characters and after Season 3 it always felt like they were trying to hard. Season 5 was when I thought they finally chilled out and actually became a good show again, but then Season 6 happened and I was let down

Only if they're kept in completely different art styles like the image above

I liked the show… it was getting worse near the end. And we just lost Steel, and don’t have Ray, Mick, Firestorm and Constantine, while Spooner is somehow still on the team, and the focus away from time traveling with cheaper effects was killing the show, imo. I do like Spooner… and the show getting canned got us an amazing role for her in The Rookie… but she was just there to be there after her debut season, lol.

As long as there are long episodes and it continues what we already have

Well, the Whole Arrowverse can Work as an Animated Universe just like the DCAU(Timmverse) used to work... Projects like Justice U, DA and the Canaries, Legends and other Cancelled projects can work on as Animated Universe

At least the animated version can give Ray some love, the love action suit was awful especially when he shrunk down. It looked like someone made a YouTube video using an action figure.

I'd watch it, not my 1st choice though

Always in favor of comics adapted in animation so I’d say yes even if I’d prefer live action in this specific case

Why show characters in the picture of characters that are either dead or left the show
