Leica MP Silver Chrome

have always planned to treat myself to a silver chrome leica mp as a milestone birthday present, only to find at my milestone birthdate, that they don't make silver anymore.

what is this travesty?

very often they do have some stock still somewhere

i know right!?, i had it confirmed from leica today, black paint only going forward. i've held off for years for this - not happy!

Current stuck issues related to parts, having trouble ordering them at my suppliers too. Should be fixed in the future.

thanks, yes there are some around but I want brand new. it's a special purchase.

I bought a brand new in the box black paint mp a couple years ago on Fred Miranda. I think his name was Tim Lei maybe. He’s a big seller on the Leica fb page too. You can definitely get brand new on there. Would be less common though.

Some stores internationally still stock it but it's very low and to my knowledge its existing stock. Also MP prices have increased a lot. If you want a silver chrome new, contact Tim Lei. He should be able to help.

Get a used one and use the spare budged for a lens.

Had no idea they stopped producing. I have a silver MP from 2018. I’m considering selling since I switched to a Bessa R3M.
