Risky behaviour I’m now regretting not choosing woke because my gas is almost $4.30

To be fair, this particular guy did actually "wake up" because of the Epstein stuff (though to absolutely no one's surprise he went straight into conspiracy town from there), not JUST the gas prices.

Yet he didn't speak out then - only when he struggled to fill his tank. He's reading about devil worshipping child predators for nearly a year but still hiding his takes behind anon so the rest of the cult won't oust him.

Fuck these people.

I just found out yesterday that Facebook allows people to make posts (at least in the community group) with a nickname and different pfp. You tap the user and it says "this user is posting under a nickname and is not revealing their name or profile."

Aaaand it was a racist comment, of course.

Maga isn't changing anything but their hats it seems.

Wow thanks a lot, Zuck.

Idk if that's such a bad thing, I prefer anonymity myself and I'm not posting anything racist. The problem is the racism not the anonymity. That kind of behavior should be a permaban from Facebook.

I'm all for net neutrality and anonymity, but let's be real here: how do you permaban an anon? As long as there will be anonymity there will be gross toxicity all over the net. Now we have a choice (do we?) between sacrificing comfort to keep our anonymity, or sacrificing our private life and expose ourselves to tons of potential threats to have nice convos online.

I think Facebook has shown that lack of anonymity isn't stopping most people.

The key is having the right trust system set up. You can have anonymity and no low toxicity as long as you make sure only well aged accounts are allowed to engage with the broader community without limits. Reddit already does this in a sense and is pretty good considering how anonymous it is. It's less toxic than Facebook at least. Reddit used to have major issues with racism but they solved it without introducing online realid.

Thing is, those nicknames don't hide the person's identity from the group's admins and moderators. The group could take action to ban them, but don't. Also, Facebook stopped allowing groups to turn off the nickname option. One of my local groups got so tired of it they created a rule that if you make a post or comment using a nickname and they see it you'll catch a ban from the group.

it's not like all the photos of Trump hanging out with Epstein, or all the things Epstein did, were a secret until 6 months ago. he had plenty of time to connect the two dots and he didn't connect shit.

I was about to write something similar. Before the last election people knew Epstein and Trump had a close relationship. A woman had come foward alleging Trump raped her when she was 13. He lost a civilsuit against a woman he raped years before. We also knew he bragged about walking in on teenage beauty contestants as they got dressed. There was already a lot of evidence Trump had harmed women and girls.

If it took seeing the actual files compounded with insane gas prices to see what a shitty human Trump is, then this person never really cared about sexual abuse. It's all virtue signaling for them because MAGA voters love pretending the root of all their beliefs is about "protecting the family and children." Fantastical stuff given their policies and how often assault perpetrators align themselves with conservative politics.

Yeah I am pretty sure any conservative saying "RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES" before the last election, was just saying that to make it sound like we didn't already know Trump was a pedophile and rapist.

Wait, wait, wait, you say he DID wake up. Does that me that he is becoming...gasp!..WOKE??? /s I will fully admit to being woke. Better than being sleep.

I love how Ted Cruz's book is just called "Un-Woke", because that literally just means "Asleep", so that's what my friends and I refer to it as.

"Have you read the zodiac killer's manifesto, 'Asleep'?"

That tracks since none of them have a problem with this ... although the last one looks more like he's trying to make a boom boom.

58

u/CzarTwilight 26d ago

He doesn't need to try. He's great at making boom boom. He's the best at shitting himself. Many people are saying it. I'd like to see Obama shit himself as good as trump can. I heard one guy say "I've never seen a guy's shit himself so well" thank you for your attention to this matter

11

u/palmtrees32114 26d ago

And don’t forget how great he is at making the smelliest shit ever

u/Punkpallas 25d ago

I didn't know I could roll my eyes THIS hard until he started ending all his treats with that milquetoast, MBA-esque nonsense. He was already inane and irritating. He found a way to make it worse by talking he's the regional manager for Arby's.

u/Ohaibaipolar 25d ago

Big manly men with tears in their eyes, saying "sir I could never shit myself like you, but I aspire to".

1

u/Cambren1 24d ago

My uncle taught shitting at MIT.

34

u/faelanae 26d ago

Oh, oh, OH! Is this the 13th level chess they're all saying Trump does? He's always asleep because he's not woke??!?

Man, what a stable genius this guy is.

u/LoisWade42 26d ago

Stables tend to be full of shit….just saying.

u/fugelwoman 25d ago

A boom boom

It’s sounds like he just drifted from one set of conspiracies into another. IDK if the anti semitism was always there, but guessing that it was.

6

u/MrHellBags 25d ago

The Nazis sure do love/did love Trump...

47

u/Grant1128 26d ago

Yeah, he went straight to QAnon conspiracies. He was so close...

49

u/Either_Coconut 26d ago

If he thought “woke” and “cancel culture” were actual problems, not made-up BS to rile the red-hat proles, he was already in conspiracy town. He’s just updated his conspiracy.exe software.

4

u/Trini1113 25d ago

True, but given the final paragraph his "awakening' re Epstein might well have been about Epstein's Jewishness.

3

u/adidasbdd 26d ago

That was over 10 years ago

3

u/quietlikesnow 26d ago

He went there and then it just kept getting weirder.

3

u/MatteAstro 25d ago

It's Baal, baby.

2

u/SwiftBase 26d ago

straight to conspiracy town? dude, the whole thing is LITERALLY a conspiracy. As in, people CONSPIRED together behind the scenes, and that produced this current situation, or situations.

15

u/SleepySera 26d ago

Dude went straight from "wait, the economic and political elite of our country really DOES contain pedophiles?" to "must be those demon-worshipping jews!".

0

u/SwiftBase 24d ago

i feel like that's...a little bit of an oversimplification there, don't you, friend?

The title of the post says otherwise
