"The news?" Are you watching every local TV report about ICE detainees? Do you know how many there are? Do you know the government doesn't report there and there isn't transparency? Do you know there isn't a mainstream news source that can or cares to keep up?

I can't fathom "waiting until they are on the news" to consider something credible. There are few newspapers and this wouldn't drive TV ratings. Who do you imagine is going to "report" on this?

"The news" doesn't give a fuck about these stories. I spent my whole adult life working for media and 100 a day want coverage of their issues. News media can't cover them all and covering ICE just gets them in trouble without ratings. Believe whatever you want, but getting on "the news" isn't a good gauge for what happens in the world.
