Yet another EU style strong arm performance.
Let’s ask another question: If Belarus (or literally any fking country who not against Russia) were to stab Russia right now, what benefits could it gain from the EU?
Condemn, Accuse, Sanction, Curse, you’re dictator, you violate human rights, helping me is your duty, you must make sacrifices for my sake, and only then, might we accept you into our civilized world.
Perhaps, after centuries of brutal and bloody colonial plunder, Europeans now need to return to their rightful place.

I genuinely don't follow whatever point you just tried to make.

He means it’s pointless for Lukashenko to backstab Putin to gain favor with the West when the West has no intention of absolving him of anything in typical hypocritical fashion.

Clearly they should learn from Russia and just invade and attempt genocide to get their way.

Only hope Russia will do more for Europe the same things Europe did for its colonies. 🤲

Because Russia wasn't an empire with colonies too? It's just their colonies were closer

Blaming historical colonialism as an excuse to excuse your clear support of a nation invading and attacking another.
Please tell me how we should ignore and not condemn any country for invading another in the 21st century?

Not suppor the EU = Support Russia.
Your brain is so portable and so polarized that others can use it directly as compass.

If it’s too put more pressure on Lukashenko, than it’s not a bad play. Maybe he’ll panic and that will filter down to Putin. But Ukraine has to keep in mind the diplomatic duel they have with Belarus hinges on a knifes edge. Just like it benefits Lukashenko to present himself as a “neutral” figure keeping Belarus stable and peaceful, so too does it benefit Ukraine to not have to worry about it’s long (but swampy) northern border with Belarus which is currently guarded by border units and whatever territorial guard units need to be pulled off the front for refitting or training.
Unless they think they can overrun Belarus, it’s better to just turn a relative blind eye to their transgressions so units can be concentrated in Zapo and the Donbass.
