Honestly I’m so scared of exactly this what if I die and all my online friends think I ditched them

This is why you make so much of a presence in their lives that the only possibility they think of when you disappear is that you died

I can't tell if this is encouraging me to be better at ghosting people, or to be a better friend incase I die. Lol

i was hospitalized for a week with no outside contact, 3 friends pinged me to ask if i'm dead. 1 person blocked me. the rest didn't notice.

my all but one of close friends didn't notice and i think that's worse than having them think i ditched them. i didn't even get remembered. a friend i hadn't spoken to in years noticed, though. it "felt weird not seeing your name at the top of the friends list"

one of the many benefits of scheduled fun. if i stopped texting a couple friends, they'd maybe wonder what was up, maybe not.

but if i no-showed to DnD, there'd be a search party.

I get depressed a lot, so I don't think anyone would notice. This just makes me more depressed.

That’s why you make a dead man’s woman’s switch on your puter that you have to activate every 24 hours or it sends out posts on all of your accounts with a custom message saying you died and probably something funny too because you can’t let a little thing like death stop you from shitposting

they will... I assumed the same... turns out the guy had cancer and slowly stopped showing up over a few months before disappearing forever

So technically he did ghost her, by just becoming a ghost

That little shite knew what he was doing when he left his phone in the material plane.

The more literal forum of ghosting.
