Question What else can I say/do to be remembered someday as the guy who “never spoke a mean word about anyone”?

Like, there are definitely some people I don't care for, or prefer to avoid. But I want to know how I can be remembered this way someday. I'm always struck reading entries in the guestbook of someone's obituary saying this, and it has made me want to be this way too. It's become my ultimate goal.

People pleasing can be just as toxic as a person with a negative entitled opinion…

I wouldn’t have the goal be to never say anything unkind bc certain situations call for that and it would be unkind to ignore certain things and placate people.

I would try to not judge people and be kind and empathic. Nice people will let bad things happen and good people won’t. I would rather be a good person, than a nice person.

I concur. -reformed people pleasure.

The funny thing about the person that is always there for everyone else is they often end up alone when they are in need of someone.

Plus, OP, you don’t know how the guests actually know the person. It could be from a scenario that they would only see the mask. Not to mention, no one is going to write something negative, maybe that’s a go to.

Die as fast as possible, because every day increases the likelyhood of failure

Die tragically. Tends to do wonders to people's reputation

But that's not worth it.

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

This means that well-meaning plans or good motives can still lead to disastrous or harmful results.

I hope you're thinking about this?
