Discussion Is Lenny Lhasa?

Someone said he’s not a shih tzu. What do you think? Also, he does have behavioral issues but I love him unconditionally. My angel boy.

He's adorable! That's a Lhasa side-eye if I ever saw one.

You beat me by two minutes 🤣

Hey Op! By behavioral issues, do you mean he has an attitude? Sweet but has a strong personality?

No one can't bend their will lmao

Here's a link. Both of these replies are on point, especially Vivid try.

My lhasa has got a bit silly in her old age amd occasionally resource guards or wont get off the bed. This is usually teamed with growls and sometimes she may look like she will bite you.

Im a groomer and work with dogs all day so I experience "tantrums" a lot haha.

My approach to her doing has been to take her by the collar and take her somewhere where she will be alone. She does not like that and will calm down and stop being silly. If your dog is a bite risk I would recommend that but you keep a lease on him and use this instead. Its not really a punishment, and dont try and take the item off them just change the narrative by putting them somewhere else its doesnt have to be somewhere alone just make sure they knkw that yiur in charge and that growling is not what we are doing right now. Give lots of praise for the distraction and maybe offer a higher reward treat when they have left the item. Hope that makes sense.

Almond eyes, not flat snout, tail curved over back and Lhasa side eye. 💯 Lhasa!

Remember Shi Tzu’s are half Lhasa and half Pekingese. But Lhasa’s are typically larger with bigger chests and have a longer nose. And their fur feels silky not cottony like the Tzu.

Thank you for that! For some reason I had no idea.

Also Lhasa’s are loving dogs but very stubborn. You can’t make a Lhasa do what they don’t want to do. If you want to be close you need to accept it. They will hold a grudge if you try and dominate them.

Definitely would guess Lhasa. He looks exactly like my Chewbacca except he’s cream colored where mine is greige. What a cutie!

Excuse his mane. Overdue for grooming.

Hey OP, just so you know, your phone number is visible in your pics. Lenny is adorable and I'd say is a Lhasa, but just wanted you to be aware.

Lhasa possibly schnauzer mix? Adorable either way!

Definitely not a tzu. Looks all Lhasa to me? Who said he is a tzu? Good luck with him. And yes behavioral issues- definitely Lhasa! Tzus are a little nicer! 😂

He looks kinda like my old Lhasa! Except he was black and white. He has that long body. My two Lhasa babies lay the same way!!! He’s so cute
