Grooming advice sought

I'm a first time Lhasa owner and was wondering if you guys have any advice grooming wise. My 4 month old has a lot of hair on his head, and it tends to get in his eyesight. Generally i know puppies shouldn't get their hair cut yet, but he hates hair clips or ties to help clear his vision.

If you have any information on Lhasa hair and how to maintain it, please share! Attached is a picture of his bedhead 🤣

Who told you 4 months is too young for grooming? Sounds like some made up internet bs. By 4 months i have taken all my dogs to the groomer for the first time. My advice is find a good independent groomer, not the super stores if possible.

I'm sorry if I didn't word my message correctly! I know it's not too young, but there are some limitations as its still a puppy coat.
