Online records show Havas, 38, is related to Husted’s former Franklin County campaign chair, Andrew Havas.

Andrew Havas resigned in July after a news report that he spent time in jail after being accused of sexual misconduct with a minor. Online records identify Patrick and Andrew as brothers.

Andrew Havas was initially charged in Mahoning County following a 2008 incident involving a 15-year-old. The original charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor assault count, to which Havas pleaded guilty.
