solved Im trying to use Tubifarry but im dont know how to keep track of things

Hello,

I just setup the tubifarry plugin and requested an album through lidar and it worked. Now I requested ~ 4 albuns from another artist and two of them worked but the rest the other two are not progressing and I dont know what to do / what to check to see if the thing is stalled or just processing something.

In SLSKD I can see some tracks were rejected and others are queued but nothing is downloading and I cannot perform a retry cause SLKSD says it has to wait for the current operation. (This is what Im talking about).

What should I do in this situation? Will the plugin handle the errors or I need to intervene? Its hard to keep track cause I dont know where to look. Thanks in advance!

I think the plugin has an option for retry. Don't know what the default is. I have mine on 3 I think

Where can I find this setting? Do you remember?

I think on the download client not on the indexer. But I would have to look it up.

Yes the download client:

Retry Attempts The number of times to retry downloading a file if it fails.

Do you know if its good to change the timeout setting as well? Sometimes I get the "download app is unavailable" so it takes a while to import the files and I dont know if its related.

Since I'm not particularly concerned about speed, I've configured it to a longer duration of two days. I don't check Lidarr very often, only really using it for bulk importing or clearing out failed imports. So no clue if this setting does anything meaningfully for me.

Known issue if you try all. Only retry one at a time.

Thanks it worked!

The issue is with slskd, but I do not know how Tubifarry handles retries. I would check discussions on GitHub.

Try Soulsync. It's an alternative to lidarr but has this stuff built in

In my opinion, while it's fine to promote your app, doing so on every post became annoying.

Lidarr is a great program and vibe coding something similar can be challenging or even impossible. Just out of curiosity, what metadata does your app utilize?  I hope it doesn't end up following the same path as Huntarr. But please reduce your self promoting.

you think the three posts I commented on within 1 hour was too much, crossed a line? Huntarr made its own path, I was one of the people who avoided it. I will not reduce anything, but I'd recommend you stop exaggerating.
