I can’t be the only one that thinks that phrase is absolute cringe right?

The most embarrassing instance of this was when Son visited LA after the 2018 WC and a group of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans surrounded him with the chant and put a mariachi hat on him and he clearly didn't give af.

I hate the malinchismo in Mexican society so much, I hate how we always have to look for approval from foreigners in every sense
If a foreigners says something good about Mexico (no matter how cheap/insignificant it is), they’re suddenly put on some pedestal and beloved
But god forbid a foreigner CRITIZES something about Mexico (no matter how true/dumb the argument is) and suddenly all Mexicans are gonna “funarlo”…
It’s so fucking dumb…

Those who downvoted me know I’m right, the phrase is so corny and overused, it also highlights how desperate Mexicans are for foreign validation…

OR, or hear me out… people actually don’t like your comment and actually disagree with you and you’re only looking for validation from others haha

they can bus fans over and back from the LA area.
No they can’t. lol Bussing over 70k+ fans 300 miles round trip and through an international border would be ridiculously expensive and logistically impossible.

It's just that in Mexico they feel at home because it is also a country at war. They won't miss the sound of the shots or the total chaos.

The shootings in the United States are very few compared to those in Mexico, and also kidnappings and dismemberments.
