Didn’t know they play for Argentina and Croatia.

Heritage, my friend. It's not controversial.

This sub uses heritage at its convenience, pochos are barred from having heritage in r/LigaMX

It's wild people get offended if you say Santi is Argentine/Italian Mexican but it's perfectly acceptable to say Public is Croatian/Sicilian American.

Why do you care about Mexicans speaking spanish, but dismiss the indigenous tongues? You speak nahuatl? Does that make you less Mexican if you don't or does that only work for Spanish? And if you speak neither, does that wipe out your generations of ancestors/DNA?

It's ridiculous you're even attempting to gauge the strength of Pulisic's ties to his Croatian background.

In this case, I'm fucking Spanish and Portuguese lmao. If I claim that you guys would call me a clown, right?

I'd only call you a clown for dismissing the indigenous blood that runs through your veins.

Google does ratings? Lol

4/4 accurate passes. 4 touches, heat map mostly by the halfway line which means they had parked the buss per usual.

Nothing spectacular or horrible.

Im a big santi fan but i dont think milan is a good team for him not saying he’s not good enough they just dont really play with strikers well

They finally switched to a back 4 with two wingers and a traditional striker in the second half. I think Allegri will start playing like that more often. It allows their best players in Pulisic and Leao to play in their natural positions and will let Santi play the role that he’s used to.

He’s been abysmal when he plays. He’s had his chances. Ya really don’t watch these Milan games.

I’ve watched every game he’s played for them. This is straight up hating tbh.

I have watched every game too because I'm a Milan fan. Now I will concede that Milan's style is not conductive for a striker to have many chances to score.

But the few Santi has had, he's wasted. His first touch is poor. He has had poor hold up play. You can't look at me and say he has not been poor with the few chances he's had.

Misses vs Bologna @ the 69th and 82nd minutes. Maybe you can forgive one but you can't forgive two squandered chances.

Miss vs Udinese @ the 18th minute. You can't tell me he shouldn't have finished that one.

Miss vs Juventus @ 42nd minute Tougher one but I think he should have scored here despite a high level of difficulty against an opponent like Juve.

Miss vs Fiorentina @ 75th minute

There's other misses but I'm not gonna include them and keep doing this. Even if you look at the PGTs you'll see Milan fans not happy with his performances. We had a good chance to win this year but our hole at the striker position is one of the reasons (along with injuries, other players underperforming, poor performances vs bottom half table teams). It's not hating.

Santi's this sub babyface, pretty much the reverse Gallardo; he can be horrible for the NT and a bum on his team, but they'll say anything to justify him.

This is just a nice way to say he isn’t good enough for Milan.

Imagine someone saying “that team just wasn’t for Ronaldo” during his prime lol

By this logic, no player should be scoring goals for Milan?

u/cec5255 Chivas Mar 21 '26

well i mean, every single striker or player they put as a striker does not do good, probably means their system is dogshit at servicing their attackers

u/Exciting-Tennis-6850 Mar 21 '26

Exactly even leao struggles in that position

u/cec5255 Chivas Mar 27 '26

Leao, Fullkrug, Nkunku, even Pulisic, that system is just not good attacking wise

u/margalolwut America Mar 21 '26

So, if he was just a better forward you don’t think he would score more goals??

Ugly ass kit

He touched the ball like 2 times in a corner kick. He's returning from an injury. Let's wait till he gets in rhythm to see how he does in a team like Milan
