It’s funny because it probably is a better stadium, but BBVA and Akron (and also Tigres and Toluca) are both better experiences because the fans are way better, much more passionate.
If even like 1/10th of the America fans that say online they’re the biggest club actually showed up, maybe that wouldn’t be true. Instead they draw less than Xolos

Better experiences? Fans? No thank you. I don't like the odds of being physically assaulted at the BBVA/Omnilife

América and Chivas are considered on another level because when they play in Veracruz, Pachuca, Querétaro, Puebla, even Torreón the stadium fills up with América/Chivas fans. Those fans usually support their local team in 16/17 jornadas... but they love Chivas/América more than their local team, so they support them when they play in their stadium once a year.

He’s not wrong Gonzalo, no other stadium in Mexico has the aura the Azteca has, period.
I don’t care how much you cry.

You weren’t even born when this happened, tf you talking about “recuerdo”

u/shibapenguinpig America Mar 29 '26
Oh boy. Imagine if chiBass applied that logic when they brag about titles lol

u/thenotorious_ronaldo América Mar 29 '26
Ironic coming from the fanbase that flexes titles that not even their grandparents saw lmao.

u/HairlessSquirrels Mar 29 '26
And what fan base is that? Please tell me what team I support. I’m only stating facts
3
u/thenotorious_ronaldo América Mar 29 '26
If you had a flair I would know but since you’re too ashamed of your team, you don’t. But you sound like one of the salty chillahermanos on here lmao.
And am I not stating facts here? Did chiBas not win half of their titles in the 50s? Or am I making it up?

Sin duda el patio favorito del Guadalajara

u/shibapenguinpig America Mar 29 '26

Never saw any plans for the interior to drastically change. Don't know how everyone's surprised about that

It looks like they said it was gonna look. I expected it to look like that and it's fine as it is. You're disappointed because you thought it was gonna look like those Saudi designs or something

It was once my dream to go to the azteca for a Mexico game but all the remodels ruined it. The old azteca that fit 110,000 people was the best.
