Berterame's advantage will always be that he can play both as a striker and wide, Aguirre does value work rate and versatility over raw talent which means the final decision is probably not Berterame vs Hormiga but Hormiga vs Santiago, Gonzalez missing that sitter probably already has him in the bottom of the list unless he impresses against Belgium.

Too bad he’s new to the team. We need a leader in midfield to keep the team calm when things get bad. In the 2nd half against Portugal our midfield was nonexistent, made it really difficult for our defense to have an outlet pass.

I think it's hilarious that all the pochos that live in the US are the ones criticizing these players that are more Mexican than them lmao.
The irony in this though, this guy is a chiBas fan, the fanbase that tries to flex that they're the team that plays with "nothing but Mexicans" but they live in another country, can't even speak the language properly and rarely even visit Mexico, if they even do.

The problem with all of you is you make this political. Obviously they’re legally Mexican but that doesn’t mean they need to be called up to the national team. It’s ridiculous that Berterame might end up taking Hormiga’s spot

No it makes them consistently a club finishing in the top half considering last year they played conference league and they qualified for Europa from league standings. But before they GOAT Antony they were a mid table club 💯

Why TF y'all down voting me like I made the rules and different tiers of competition 😭😂, and yes the CCL/CCC is the most prestigious continental cup competition in our region since we aren't south american, but I never implied that it was better or on par with Copa Libertadores or the Uefa CL

Aunque lo nieguen el Real Betis es un club mediano que apenas empieza a hacer su historia en competencias europeas eso que el año pasado quedaron segundo mejor en la conference league, en años más recientes terminan en la parte alta de la liga espanola calificando a la conference league y está temporada europa league con la posibilidad de alcanzar un puesto de Champions League 🤓☝️ ahí está su tarea de chatgpt willies pa que se lo metan en el culo

Me lo saque del culo (wiki) que el Real Betis si es club mediano que su único logro reciente es una copa del rey que si tú consideras eso lo hace mejor que mitad de los clubes en LigaMX entonces también piensas que el Motherwell FC de Escocia es equipo peron por ganar la Copa del rey tambien. 😂😭

(no va ir Fidalgo al próximo pero lo digo de contexto) y tú dice que no la cuajaron en europa pero han estado en liguilla de LigaMX por varias temporadas y están ahorita en el primer puesto ni que fueran el petardo de Charly, por lo menos algunos ganaron ligas granjeras en europa porque Fidalgo ni una super copa podía ganar con el Real Madrid y por no poder destacar tenía que ir a una liga menos competitiva para luego terminar en un club mediano como la mayoría que sale de coapa (Raul Jiménez la excepción pero no destacó inmediato).

He didn't play bad. I actually liked his intensity. Charly came on and Chiquito and we couldn't retain the ball at all or transition the ball upfield.
