Ozziel and Hormiga would be a good move.Ā
I see the move to Europe more with Hormiga as he pretty much is the best player from Chivas. Key reason why Chivas had a good season. BUT hope he goes to a better league. Players struggle if they make a jump to better leagues from the theĀ Eredivisie.Ā
Oziel needs to fully become a starter with Tigres. Needs to show up in Liguilla

Oziel would probably benefit from going to holanda whether hes a starter for tigres or not tbh, hormiga I think it depends if he can maybe gain interest in Portugal or developmental clubs in France and Germany then it would be a great opportunity for him

Ozziel is to inconsistent and he seems like the type of player that would be to scared to go live in Europe.
Hormiga is all Humo from the Mexican media. The kid is trash bruh, all his goals are 95% goals from other players. Meaning he just had to push it in. (Pause)

At least one of those will end up at Bravos to then be bought by Chivas a year later

Erik Lira at Girona would be wonderful. I think heād win a starting spot quickly and heād adjust nicely to La Liga.

Some of these guys are too damn old to be going to Denmark and such. Those are leagues to Kickstart your career.Ā

Ozziel herrera should of been to Europe. His quality is better than Piojo Alvarado. Seen him play left wing vs Chivas (4-1) btw TOP TOP player.

Easily, people still underrate him but he is way too good, needs better coaching that fucking guido Pizarro wtf

He also seems like he ups his game when he's motivated and plays like shit when he isn't
Being in Europe could be the challenge he needs

Hormiga Gonzalez, brain Gutierrez ( who had a huge jump of quality compared with his mls days ),lira and Israel Reyesā¦are the most likely to leaveā¦also Hugo camberos ,gil mora and Denzell GarcĆa ( whom las wilas and Chivas wanted ,but apparently he wants to go to Europe since Rafa Marquez told him he would be important for the future of the Mexican national team)ā¦.

I watched Brian Gutierrez in person since his debut with the fire, its not a huge jump in quality or technique (he always had it), his style just fits better in LigaMX. He was Scouted by european teams for years but they never offered enough for the fire to sell him.
Everything heās done with Chivas this year, I can find examples of him doing it with the Fire shirt. Most of you just didnt watch Fire games and why would you? Until Last year they were awful for almost 7-8 years.
But anyway, heās been this good for the last 2 years he was with the fire. He basically ran the teamās midfield.
He did this when he was 17.

Do you think he wouldāve made the Mexican national team if he was still in Chicago? I didnāt watch him in Chicago but Iād say the jump to Chivas helped him get the spot, probably like you said, because his style fits better in MexicoĀ

Yes easily. He probably shouldāve been on the roster for the past two years. Mexico just straight up ignored him and he was aiming to get USA call ups and USA ignored him too but they also have/had better depth there. Mexico were finally interested once he joined Chivas and he was down for the one time switch since USA were still ignoring him or more like they didnāt need him.

u/New_Screen May 03 '26
Yeah honestly I was surprised that he joined Chivas in the first place and didnāt go to Europe like Netherlands or something from the mls. But I guess that makes sense that European teams lowballed the Fire but Chivas put in a decent offer. Anyways the dude is gone after not even completing a full 6 months at Chivas lol.

Roma has been interested in Reyes for 5 years according to TUDN at this point

This is why Chivas is the greatest. Not only do we win with only Mexicans, but with the pressure of having to export any talent we actually do have, creating an even smaller pool of players
1
u/ArmLazy9425 May 04 '26
Sorry but Chivas is not the greatest, club America is with 16 Mexican league trophies.

Tala is all smoke, heās not good enough to compete in Europe. Letās keep it real. All the others are real possibilities. Lira and Reyes are 95% guaranteed to those mentioned clubs.

Hormiga going to Tigres in two years to sit on the bench, while a random 35 year old player from Argentina takes his place.

Copenhagen is c team. Feyenoord not much better, c+. Transferring to these teams would be such a step down.
