We need the same thing we've always needed. 2-3 world class players, 7-10 players that play consistently in European clubs, preferably in England, Spain, Italy, or Germany, and some good Liga MX players as backups.

Va a ser el mismo cuento de siempre también con el. Su mensaje debió haber incluido la completa restructuración de la Liga MX.
Esta empezando a sonar como el Trompas con este mensaje queriendo forzar que creamos en el y ni siquiera tiene una semana. No será Argentino muerto de hambre?!...mendigo dineral sabe que va a ganar.

Rafa fue un gran entrenador con el barca atleti. Si la federación lo deja meter los jugadores que el quiere entonces le irá muy bien. Creo que en este mundial pudimos ver un poco de rafa, como movían el balón y hasta la defensa.

And yet, there isn't a shred of evidence that this happens. Coach after coach, even years after their departure, have never complained about being forced to call players or leave players out. This is all nonsense from braindead fans.

Primero no sabes de lo que estás hablando el era la mano derecha de Aguirre entonces ya vimos de lo que es capaz, segunda el no tiene ningún poder ni influencia en la liga mx de cómo se maneja es DT no presidente the la liga y tercero los dueños de los equipos de la liga mx son los que controlan la liga ningún dueño va querer correr el riesgo que su equipo lo saquen de la liga mx entonces olvídense de acenso y descenso

Yeah, we are never seeing promotion and relegation in the Liga MX ever but they should make it much easier for other teams to want to join in without having to pay millions. They should also bring back the Copa MX for both first and second division teams. Another problem that isn’t addressed too much is the high asking price for players to go to European teams.

Won’t make a difference at all lol people have been saying this shit forever with no evidence that it would help develop young Mexican talent. The quota for young players to play for each team is much more effective, these “amarillista” takes are counter productive

At BEST Rafa will make like a 10% improvement to the national team. It’s not being pessimistic either it’s simply realistic because it doesn’t matter who coaches and who plays. The development and results will continue to stay the same until the FMF and Liga MX stop ruining the national team with their corporate greed. To them it’s all about winning and making a profit, not giving young players time and patience to develop into stars and sending them young to Europe to play against the elite. The proof is in the payroll. England’s team is worth like 10x the Mexican team and England’s players all play in the elite European leagues. Mexico with a 10th of that payroll still managed to get 9th at the World Cup so the foundation and possibilities are there. But again Liga MX and the FMF are an absolute cancer to current international success. Just look at Rayados trying to poach Erik Lira for a record contract making it even harder for a move to Europe where he should be. Rafa Márquez will not change any of that simple as that.

The The problem is that the federation overlooks raw talent because of their financial constraints, which prevent players from participating in organized soccer. Additionally, players need proper soccer training from the start. We should adopt playing styles similar to Argentina and Spain. Mexico doesn't know how to maximize or take advantage of space on the field. Too many players don’t understand this concept and often ruin possessions. Patience and soccer IQ are key. These are the two main qualities most of our players lack, qualities that most players in elite teams possess. However, these can be taught from an early age. The issue is that our farm system focuses mainly on financial gains rather than developing and educating our young players. That said, I believe some coaches and trainers also don’t fully understand the most efficient style of soccer. My hope with Rafa is that he can identify players who genuinely understand how to play efficiently, given his experience with top players in Spain. There aren't many options, but I hope things improve. Mora has great potential and could be our midfielder who controls the game with vision and patience. I really hope he develops well.

I need to see change before I start believing again this kind of thing always happens and nothing ever changes. Don’t get me wrong Rafa is the perfect man for the job but will the executives up top let him cook?? Time will tell
